The Timber Fixing Screws are professional, high performance timber screws for fixing into softwood or hardwood with a combination hexagonal head with deep Torx compatible insert that ensures reduced cam-out. The super sharp tip gives an immediate bite from the first turn and the patented self-drilling thread removes the need to-pre-drill timber and reduces the probability of splitting. The hardened case and core give exceptional strength and are protected by Elementech 2000 surface treatment which provides corrosion resistance up to twice as long as standard timber screws. These screws have an impressive pull out value meaning there is less risk of working loose in substrates that flex in use and these screws are able to flex to 35º reducing likelihood of screw shearing while being CE approved for use in load-bearing timber construction.
