The Chipboard Countersunk Screws are single thread multi-purpose woodscrews in a Zinc yellow passivated finish with a countersunk pozidrive compatible recessed head. These are highly versatile and immensely popular single thread screws and are perfect for a whole host of fixing needs. These screws are ideal for fixing into a range of substrates including softwoods, hardwoods, chipboards and fibreboards and have a quicker and easier insertion thanks to an extra deep insert bit recess, which enables a firmer positive drive. The single thread and special wax coating increases speed and ease of insertion and the single thread design also provides increased holding power particularly when used with particle boards like MDF. These screws offer more corrosion resistance than zinc plated products thanks to additional passivation process and are suitable for numerous ironmongery, joinery, electrical and plumbing applications.
